  • TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE FITNESS PORTION OF YOUR PROGRAM!
    The fitness portion of my program focuses primarily on circuit training for both the resistance and cardio/HITT (high-intensity training) workouts in each session. Circuit training is a series of exercises performed one after the other with minimal rest. This technique ensures improvements in cardiorespiratory fitness + muscular strength and endurance - an equation for positively altering your body composition (burning fat/weight loss + building muscle/toning)! All you need to do is select 1 resistance workout AND 1 cardio/HIIT workout from the workout library for each session. A sample 1-week workout plan is included to give you an idea of how to properly design your workouts. Variety is crucial in order to keep challenging yourself and progressing towards your goals. New workouts are posted biweekly - don't forget to change it up!
  • TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE NUTRITION PORTION OF YOUR PROGRAM!
    The nutrition portion of my program provides recipes for a healthy, balanced diet. I use a primarily whole foods approach (with easy plant-based substitutes), incorporating as many fresh and natural ingredients as possible in each recipe. All of these recipes are super delish, gluten-free (because I have a sensitivity), often include no more than 10 simple ingredients and take only 30 minutes or less of preparation. Whose got time for more than that? You feel me? ​ The HUSTLE HARD(ER) subscription comes with a library of my favorite breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack recipes as well as a recommended 1-week meal plan. All you need to do is select a breakfast, lunch and dinner recipe + 2 snacks for each day of the week! I recommend sticking to your meal plan as best as possible. Eating out or a "cheat meal" every so often will NOT hinder your results as long as you are conscious about your decisions - drop the bun on your cheeseburger and do it "Protein Style"! By using these recipes to create a meal plan of your own, you’ll learn the basics of nutrition and how to properly fuel your body in order to reach your goals. Most of the dinner recipes have a serving size of 2-4 which is great if you have a family, significant other or just want to make your life easy with leftovers. NOW GET COOKING!
  • WHAT EQUIPMENT IS NEEDED FOR THE AT HOME WORKOUTS?
    Each workout can be modified accordingly but I do suggest having a set of 5 and 10 pound dumbbells, resistance loop bands + sliders if you plan to perform the majority of your workouts at home. Recommendations for this equipment (and more!) can be found on my SHOP page.
  • HOW LONG ARE THE WORKOUTS?
    Both at home and gym workouts consist of 21 minute EMOM (every minute on the minute) resistance training circuits followed by 20 minutes of cardio/HITT, totaling approximately 40 minutes. 5-minute finisher workouts are also available if you're looking for that extra burn. The circuit training technique I use in my program is ideal if you're limited on time. My workouts will allow you to make the most out of the precious time you dedicate to your daily fitness.
  • HOW MANY DAYS PER WEEK SHOULD I WORKOUT?
    I recommend 5-6 sessions per week. For the 1-2 "days off", I recommend engaging in active recovery. Active recovery days include low-intensity activities such as a power walk, a light jog, stretching, a gentle yoga session, etc. - anything to keep the blood flowin'. These active recovery days will help ease soreness and reduce muscle fatigue so you're ready to GO the next day. If you just need a day or two to rest/recover - DO IT. Listen to your body!
  • HOW OFTEN ARE NEW RECIPES AND WORKOUTS POSTED?
    Upon launching, 12 recipes for each meal (including snacks) +12 resistance and cardio/HIIT workouts will be available. AT LEAST 3 new recipes for each meal + 3 new resistance and cardio/HIIT workouts will be posted every 2 weeks.

    Once you sign up for the HUSTLE HARD or HUSTLE HARD(ER) subscription, you will receive an email to create your account. Once your account is created, you can login on the upper right-hand side of hookdfitness.com to access the goodies specific to your subscription at any time. Whether you're at the gym or grocery store, the exercise and recipe libraries are readily available...right into the palm of your hand!
